6 Words for "Miracle"
A soon-to-be pastor (Trevor)spoke at my church on May 25th. He preached on miracles, and began his sermon going through the 6 different Hebrew words for 'miracle' as found in the Bible.
The first 5 words are intended to attract NEW believers:
1) teras - "wonders"
2) dynamis - "miracles"
3) endoxox - "wonderful things"
4) thaumasios - "wonderful things"
5) paradoxos - " remarkable things"
The last word is aimed at the believers:
6) semeion - "miraculous signs"
Trevor went into further detail on these 6 words and listed where each one is found in the Bible. I'll leave it up to him to share this information in his own way.
BTW the GREATEST miracle is The Gift of Salvation (only available by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal savior).
Allow Jesus to impact your life!
